Many, many snow days.
We have had one heck of a winter so far this year! Apparently this is the most snow in one winter that this area has ever seen. So far we have had over 60 inches of snow fall this season. I enjoy the first snowfall of the season. I think the trees look beautiful and it feels nice to be stuck inside snuggling with the family for a day or two during the cold weather. But that's where the fun ends for me. So 5 snowstorms later and I'm about to go nuts! There is snow EVERYWHERE around here! It's been freezing cold lately. And we have a 2-month-old in the family so to say we haven't got out much lately is a huge understatement. Norah has off school every other day and I love her dearly, but we have some looooooong days when there is no school. Being stuck inside is just no fun for anyone. Norah loves the snow and most days I'm not even able to take her out since Nolan is too little to take that adventure at this point.
But we did find some time to get her out for a bit on an afternoon that Jamie got home from work a little early. I even snuck out of the house for a little fun in the snow. Norah lasted at least an hour out there. I, on the other hand, was ready to go inside after 1o minutes. It's not so bad though when you have an excited little girl with you to keep you company in the cold.
