So it only took me 2 months to get back to this blog but to say that we've been busy here at the Kapes house would be an understatement.
Our little man, Nolan Edward, was born on December 1st so most of our time over the past few months has been spent getting to know the newest member of our family. Here he is at 8 weeks old:
I can't believe that he will be two months old tomorrow! I must admit, the past two months have been a bit of a whirlwind. But I can finally, after breathing a very deep sigh, say that I'm finding my groove as a mommy of two. Sure, the sleepless nights have made for some very exhausting and overwhelming days. But the moment I get a smile from my little boy, or witness Norah cuddling up to her baby brother with a look of pure love and joy on her face, my heart melts and I realize that it's all worth it.
Well, it's getting pretty late and to be perfectly honest, my mind feels like a ball of mush these days. So for now I'll just let the pictures tell the story of our lives for the past few months. Here's what we've been up to:
