And the countdown begins...

We have just a little less than 4 weeks until baby boy Kapes is due to arrive! We are so excited to meet him and slowly getting things ready around here for his arrival. We do have a few names picked out, but decided to wait until the little fellow is born before we choose one. It's funny how everything was done so early with Norah...We knew her name as soon as we found out she was a girl and we had her nursery ready and everything we needed and more purchased well before my due date. With this one, it's not so much that we're not ready, but that we're just so much more relaxed and laid back about the whole process. We're just enjoying our last few weeks as a family of three before we welcome our little boy to the family. Jamie just started to paint the room and then we'll be putting together and arranging the furniture but we're in no hurry as we know that he will be hanging out with us in our room for a little while. Although we're in no hurry, I can't hold back my utter excitement for some of those indescribable first moments - I can't wait to see Jamie hold his son for the first time. I can't wait to watch Norah as she meets her little brother for the first time and takes on the role of big sis. I know she's going to be a great one! And I can't wait to look into my little boy's eyes and fall in love once again. I'm so blessed to have the opportunity to be a mother. It has been the most amazing gift and I wouldn't trade it for anything!
