Busy, busy!

I feel terrible that I haven't posted in so long! The Kapes household has been busy with visitors for the past two weeks. First, Jamie's parents and Gram came for 5 days and we had a great visit with them! We went to the beach one afternoon and spent time relaxing and of course, playing some Pinochle (a favorite in the Kapes family!) Two days after we said goodbye to Jamie's parents and Gram, my mom, stepdad and brother came to visit for a week. And what a busy week it was! We took a trip to the aquarium, my brother and I took the train to NYC, my mom and I also took a trip into NYC to see Grease on broadway and we spent an afternoon at the beach. Then Norah and I took a brief trip to Lancaster for a good friend's birthday party and to visit with more family. Phew! I'm tired just writing all of that! We are so thankful that both of our families were able to make it up for extended visits this summer and will miss them until we see them again next month. For now we are settling back into our regular routines. Norah continues to learn new things every day, so I will be sure to post as much as I can now that we are not so busy.
