Here goes...

Well, here it is - my first post. I decided to create a blog to capture all of those wonderful memories, big and small, that we create as a family through the years. I have many fond memories of my childhood, however it often becomes difficult to place the details. Hopefully the entries that I make will capture special moments for my children to take with them when they are grown. I do love to scrapbook, but to be honest, that hobby has pretty much gone out the window, at least for now. And I'm really not as upset about it as I thought I would be. I just don't have the time to do it (would much rather be having fun with my baby girl!) and have made peace with the fact that my photos will be in albums. Having said that, I still wanted to hold onto our memories in some way, and I realized that a blog is the answer! Ideally it would have been nice to begin this blog when Norah was born, but we were just a little busy in the fall. We moved to CT just one month after Norah arrived after Jamie got his new job. We moved into our house in January (we were in an apartment for 2 months) and we're just starting to feel settled in our new home and location. So to me, now is an even better time to get this blog going. When we moved to CT, we officially started a new chapter in our life - our family is home! I am so blessed to have this amazing little family. Stay tuned for much, much more!
