Yesterday evening we went to Norah's first "concert" at Weed Beach in Darien. We met my friend Deb and her two daughters, Molly and Jane at the beach, where we saw Jeffrey Friedberg and the Bossy Frog Band. It was pretty crowded but all of the children there were having a blast! Norah absolutely LOVED it. She clapped and danced almost the entire time! It was also our first time visiting Weed Beach. I didn't realize we had such a nice beach so close to where we live! Norah touched and played with sand for the first time too. We were so into the concert though, that I didn't even take a picture of her new discovery! Oh well, there's always next time. Now that I bought a beach pass, we will definitely be returning to Weed Beach for many more summer beach days! Here is a short video of Norah dancing to the music. Too cute...
