Ever since Norah starting really talking and having conversations, she has been saying some pretty funny stuff. Just wanted to capture a few conversations in writing so I can always remember these comical moments.
Sitting down for pizza at a b-day party:
Daddy: Norah, look! They have party hats! Do you want to put yours on?
Norah: No, Daddy. That's for when you eat cake. Haven't you ever been to a party?
During a playgroup with new friends, including an older boy who Norah enjoyed playing with:
Norah: Mommy?
Me: Yes, Norah?
Norah: I love you.
My heart melts...
3 seconds later -
Norah: And I love this boy too. (as she points to her new friend)
I'm not feeling so special anymore...boys are loved just as much as I am already....
Deciding on snack:
Norah: Mom, can I have a snack?
Me: Sure. What would you like?
Norah: I know! Let's have some grapes and help our muscles grow!
Talking about her big girl quilt:
Norah: I love it! It's so beautiful!
Me: You do? That's good.
Norah: Don't worry about it, Mommy! It's beautiful.
Norah: (holding a banana that has turned brown) Look, Mommy! It's decayed!
(The girl watches a lot of Sid the Science Kid)
To be continued...I'm sure there will be plenty more where that came from! The girl's mouth doesn't stop moving...she even talks in her sleep!
