1. Norah favorite activity lately is to change and feed Elmo and Stella. When I say change, I mean the works! She takes out her changing pad, all of the creams and lotions that we have for her, wipes, diapers...you name it. She sets everything up just the way that I do when I change her diaper. And then she goes through the whole process. And after that, she wants to do it all over again...and again...and again... This requires A LOT of patience on Mommy and Daddy's part. It is extremely cute to watch though!
2. Jamie had Norah help him put napkins on the table one evening for dinner and then she wanted to help with the forks and before we knew it she was requesting to set the table every night. She's such a good helper! Look forward to a video of her in action soon.
3. Norah has always loved to listen to music, but lately she has really been picking up on a lot of the words to songs. She has a few favorites that she likes to sing herself...Ring Around the Rosie, ABC's, Skip to My Lou, and Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.
4. Along with learning the words to songs, she has also been remembering some of the words to her favorite books. She loves to "read" her books with Mommy and Daddy every chance she gets.
5. We just purchased a new swingset for the yard as an early birthday present for Norah. She was so excited when we went to the store and she got to try out all of the display sets. I can't wait to see her reaction when we have it installed on Thursday. I'll be sure to post some pics of this too!
We have an almost 2 year old, little Miss Independent on our hands these days! And although she pushes our buttons sometimes and loves to test the limits we continue to have a blast with her and love her to death!
