A note from mommy

Dear Norah,
On October 5, 2007 at 9:07 p.m. I met the most beautiful little girl in the world. I immediately fell in love and every day since then, that love has grown and grown into something I can't even begin to describe. I want you to know that each and every day that I spend with you, watching you grow and learn new things, is such a blessing. I am so proud to be your mommy. It seems like yesterday that we were bringing you home with all of our questions, all of our doubts. Would we be good parents? Is this the way we're supposed to handle this? Should we be doing that? You teach your children so much and yet they teach you even more. You have already given me many lessons...I don't have to be perfect and you still love me. Playing is so much more fun and so much more important than cleaning! In order to be a great mommy, I have to take time for me every now and then. It's important to have consistency and routine, but it's also important to be flexible. And that's just a few! I am so grateful to have you in my life! I have only known you for a year and already I don't know what my life would be without you. Happy 1st Birthday Norah! I love you so, so much!
xoxo,
Mommy
